A local Elks Lodge has reached out to help those affected by the flooding in Texas.
Manitowoc Elks Lodge #687 donated $1,000 to Kerrville Elks Lodge #2081, which will go towards their relief efforts in the community located an hour northwest of San Antonio.
Tim Ahrens, the Exalted Ruler of the Manitowoc Lodge, tells SeehaferNews.com that the funds were made possible from their recent charity Bingo night.
He issued a thank you to “our Bingo volunteers and the Manitowoc community for participating in Bingo. Without them, these funds would not be possible.”
