
The Green Bay Police Department arrested a man after a stand-off.
Their patrol division, SWAT Team, and Crisis Negotiation team were called to a home in the 800 block of Columbia Avenue yesterday (July 20th) after the 44-year-old suspect fled from an attempted traffic stop near the area of Vroman and Mather Street last Friday.
The suspect was known to have a history with weapons.
The suspect was located at 10:00 a.m. yesterday before being arrested at 1:45 p.m. without further incident.
No other information about the suspect was released.
Green Bay Police also thanked the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Green Bay Metro Fire Department for their assistance on scene and to residents for following a temporary shelter-in-place order.
