A high-speed crash during a police chase has led to criminal charges against a 27-year-old Milwaukee man.
Police say Charles Chipley was driving at 106 mph when he lost control and slammed into a bus stop near Sherman Boulevard and Fond du Lac Avenue, killing a 55-year-old man.
Chipley attempted to flee on foot but was later arrested.
He now faces charges including reckless homicide, hit-and-run resulting in death, and driving without a valid license.
