
The Wisconsin State Fair is being recognized by USA Today.
The national publication released its 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for best state fairs, and Wisconsin is on the list.
Shari Black, CEO of the Wisconsin State Fair Park, said of the nomination, “Our unique location – just minutes from downtown Milwaukee – combined with the amazing partners and vendors truly makes our State Fair one of the most unique Fairs in the country. Now it’s time to let the world know that our recipe of amazing music, top-notch attractions, the best animal shows, and so much more – all at -friendly prices – makes Wisconsin State Fair the best of the best.”
Also, the Dairy Building, formerly known as the Original Cream Puff Pavilion, has been restored to its original name and glory with a new look.
The Dairy Building first opened its doors back in 1909 with the landmark ovens first firing up in 1924 to produce a food item that would showcase Wisconsin’s famed dairy industry. For more than 100 years,
The Dairy Building has turned out millions of Original Cream Puffs, delighting Fairgoers of all ages as they enjoy one of Wisconsin’s time-honored traditions.
This year’s fair will begin on July 31st through August 10th.
