A Sheboygan-based manufacturing company recently partnered with Plymouth High School Students for a woodworking project.
Bemis Manufacturing Company’s Kelch Division contracted Plymouth High to build a custom display cabinet and drawers to showcase parts for visiting customers at their Sheboygan Falls location.
The project request allowed Tech Ed students to explore a hands-on opportunity while adding their own ideas and details to what Bemis was looking for.
In the announcement, Bemis stated, “This is what local collaboration looks like — practical learning, community connection, and a finished product that we’re proud to show off.”
They also noted that the work done by the students was not only impressive, but it also showed off their craftsmanship and professionalism.
The custom display is now in use at Kelch and can be viewed with a commemorative plaque thanking the Plymouth High School students.
