The City of Manitowoc is starting a two-month road project on the south side today (July 10th).
South 9th Street from Dewey to Wilson Street will be closed to all traffic while Vinton Construction reconstructs the road.
It’s anticipated that the entire project will be done by September 12th.
Funding for the project comes from $5.5 million in the city’s budget.
The S. 9th Street project is expected to cost approximately $350,000, which is the lowest of three major road projects scheduled for this year.
