
The Plymouth School District was the recipient of over $10,000 in grant funding throughout this past school year.
The District has announced that it received $11,244 in grants through donations from the Plymouth Education Foundation.
These grants were broken up into $8,200 worth of “large grants” and $3,044 worth of “mini-grants.”
The large grants included resources for 3rd-grade students at Parkview Elementary to raise fish in the classroom, as well as funding to replace the treadmills at the Riverview Physical Education Fitness Center.
Smaller grants dispersed throughout the district included keyboards for the Horizon and Fairview music departments, a photo backdrop for the high school, and a tent and benches for an outdoor classroom at Parkview.
