The sentencing of the second Random Lake teen involved in a child sexual assault case has been delayed.
17-year-old Spencer Dietrich was scheduled to appear for his sentencing hearing after his jury trial came to an end in late April.
During that trial, he was found guilty of Child Abuse – Intentionally Causing Harm and two counts of Intimidating a Victim with the Use of Force, while being found not guilty of sexual assault and incest with a child, amongst other charges.
Court documents show that a pre-sentence investigation has been filed, which has pushed back the teen’s sentencing hearing.
Dietrich and fellow 17-year-old Cole Guttmann have both been found guilty of charges relating to an incident that occurred in April of last year.
Guttmann was ordered to spend four years in prison, followed by eight years on extended supervision, earlier this month after being convicted due to a no contest plea to a charge of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
While little information is available in regard to the pre-sentence investigation, Dietrich is now scheduled to be sentenced on July 18th.
