A Sheboygan resident lost two pets during a trailer fire Monday morning.
The Sheboygan Fire Department was dispatched to the Sommers Trailer Park just after 9:00 a.m. on a report of a structure fire.
Crews arrived to find light smoke emanating from a home and found the kitchen was on fire.
The flames were quickly doused, but not before two felines were killed.
A third cat was saved and reunited with the homeowner, who was displaced. No additional injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and the estimated damage is approximately $15,000.
