An annual fishing competition is making its way back to Two Rivers.
The 16th annual Wisconsin Carp Championship will be held on May 31st and June 1st in the East and West Twin Rivers.
The competition will have anglers from across Wisconsin converge on Two Rivers in search of capturing the state championship.
This will be a catch-and-release “big 5” tournament, meaning only the five largest fish caught over the two days will count toward an angler’s final carp weight.
A meet and greet with the anglers is scheduled for the day before from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Whisky D’s.
Those wishing to enter the competition are required to attend this meeting and pay the $350 fee via cash or PayPal. Entrants are required to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Wisconsin fishing license.
