
An Outagamie County Dispatcher has been named the best in the state.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin Public Safety Communications (WIPSCOM) have announced that Chantell Konkle has been named the 2025 Wisconsin Telecommunicator of the Year.
This annual award reflects any winner’s dedication, calm under pressure, and unwavering commitment to serving their community, and Konkle is no exception.
Outagamie County Telecommunications Director Kati Stahmann noted that Konkle is a dispatcher who can always be counted on and who thrives as a leader, mentor, and lifesaver.
WIPSCOM also handed out the Wisconsin Leadership Award to Nichole Sowa, a dispatcher from Walworth County.
While addressing Konkle’s recognition, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office stated, “Thank you, Chantell, for your professionalism, compassion, and excellence. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and this award is well deserved.”
