The former owner of the Pietroske Automotive dealership in Manitowoc has passed away.
According to his obituary, Robert “Bob” Pietroske passed at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa on April 28th at the age of 82.
A native of Two Rivers, Bob began working for the Hamachek Company in Manitowoc and moved his way up to General Manager.
After working for Ken Lewis, “The Car King,” Pietroske purchased his first GM dealership in Chilton.
He would sell the business nine months later and buy out Ken Lewis, his former partner.
He purchased and acquired numerous other dealerships in his time in Two Rivers, Brillion, and Appleton.
Pietroske was also an active member of the Two Rivers Jaycees, Manitowoc Chamber of Commerce, and Travelers Protective Association.
His funeral will be tomorrow (May 3rd) at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers at 11:00 am. Visitation will take place an hour before.
