After returning to their winning ways Wednesday, the Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team hits the road this afternoon to battle the Winneconne Wolves in a non-conference game.
The Shipbuilders come in with a record of 11 and 1, while the Wolves are 8 and 5.
The first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Elsewhere, Algoma entertains rival Kewaunee, Sturgeon Bay heads down to Southern Door, Green Bay Southwest visits De Pere, Notre Dame of Green Bay travels to Shawano, Green Bay Preble hosts Gladstone Michigan for a doubleheader, Pulaski entertains Appleton East, Appleton North heads to Schofield to play D.C. Everest, Hudson has a long bus ride to Hortonville, Sevastopol hosts Oconto and Peshtigo heads to Door county to play Gibraltar/Washington Island.
It’ll be a top-ten matchup in Division Four girls’ softball in Fond Du Lac today as top-ranked Mishicot travels to Marian College to play ninth-ranked St. Mary’s Springs.
The Indians come into the game with an eight-game winning streak and a record of 9 and 2, while the Ledgers out of the Flyway conference are 10 and 5.

It’s a busy day of high school track and field as well, as Manitowoc Lincoln participates in a co-ed meet in Kimberly, Manitowoc Lutheran has a co-ed meet in Brillion where the field includes Kiel and Chilton, Two Rivers is part of a co-ed field at the Luxemburg Casco Invitational, and Mishicot is hosting a co-ed Invitational that includes The Valders Vikings.
The Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Tennis Team is in Green Bay for the first of a two-day Invite, and Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah hosts a boys golf Invite that includes Two Rivers, Chilton, New Holstein, Cedar Grove/Belgium, Sheboygan North, Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan Lutheran, and Sheboygan Christian. Tee time is 10 a.m.
