A woman from Blue Mounds is being held on a $1 million bond following accusations that she murdered her mother.
Prosecutors have charged 31-year-old Sierra Schoonover with first-degree intentional homicide.
Authorities were alerted after a neighbor reported a violent altercation between the two outside their home.
The mother was found dead at the scene, while Schoonover was later discovered in a crashed vehicle, reportedly naked and with dried blood on her hands.
After being hospitalized, she allegedly confessed to the killing.
A judge has ordered a competency evaluation ahead of her next court appearance in June.
