The newest Manitowoc Public School Board will be sworn in tonight (April 28th).
The meeting begins at 5:30 pm at the Manitowoc Public School District Office on Lindbergh Drive.
Ann Holsen, David Bowman, and Mary Lofy Blahnik will take their oaths of office before the new board elects a president, vice president/clerk, and treasurer.
They will also elect a board secretary and deputy clerk.
Following the swearing-in, there will be a special meeting discussing salary increases for teachers and administrators and picking members for school board committees.
Holsen, Bowman, and Blahnik won the most votes out of six candidates running for a board position during the 2025 Spring General Election.
