Valders High School Prom is rapidly approaching.
It is looking to be a “Night of Chance” at the Wisconsin Farm Discovery Center this Saturday (April 26th), which is supposed to look like Las Vegas.
The doors open at 7:00 p.m. and close at 8:00 p.m., and the dance will carry on until 11:00 p.m.
Valders High School principal Dave Schmidt asks all students attending to avoid jeans and dress nicely, as it is a formal event.
Peter Cigler a student at Valders Highschool on prom court spoke about how he was worked to get everyone in the prom spirit.
He said, “I made announcements to help with the awareness for getting people there. And I also did most of, if not all of, the dress-up days.”
While Peter and the Valders prom court finish up preparations, Principal Schmidt spoke about what Prom means at Valders High School.
“It’s just an exciting, fun night for the kids. You know it’s just a pretty formal event, and the kids really enjoy it. It will be my fourth prom out of five years because of COVID, and it’s always a very exciting night. I really enjoy watching the kids have a good time,” said Schmidt.
The “Night of Chance” is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
