One of Lakeland University’s esports teams is set to compete at nationals.
The Lakeland Rocket League squad will take on Huntingdon College tomorrow (April 24th) at 8:00 p.m. in a best-of-five series in round one of the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) national Rocket League tournament.
The Muskies of Lakeland come into round one as a 13 seed while Hawks of Huntingdon are a 4 seed.
The NECC Rocket League tournament will be a single elimination bracket, meaning if Lakeland pulls off the upset, they will move on to a double header matchup in another best of five series with a trip to the tournament semifinals on the line.
