A major county highway in Manitowoc will be closed starting next week.
Manitowoc County Highway Department Director Greg Grotegut explains that County Road CR from County Highway U to County Highway C will only be open for local traffic beginning next Monday (April 28th).
The road project includes milling, paving, shouldering, and pavement marking.
The road will be closed to through traffic within the segment, although access to all affected residences and businesses will be maintained at all times, with some possible delays at times.
The detour for construction will be County Highway U to County Highway LS to County Highway C. The project is expected to be completed by the end of May.
