FOX11 reports that the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the intersection of County Highway EE and Wege Road in the Town of Center on Saturday (April 19th) at approximately 7:45 p.m.
The initial call reported a two-vehicle crash with multiple people sustaining injuries. Initial investigations show that a car traveling west on Wege Road, driven by a 72-year-old Freedom woman, failed to stop at a stop sign before crashing into a pickup truck traveling south on County Highway EE.
As a result of the collision, the 72-year-old driver and her passenger, a 75-year-old Freedom man, were seriously injured, while a juvenile passenger in the pickup truck sustained minor injuries.
All three required medical assistance and were transported to area hospitals.
