
A De Pere woman remains in custody on drug charges after being pulled over in Fond du Lac County.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has shared that on April 11th a deputy conducted a traffic stop a vehicle traveling on Interstate 41 for an equipment violation.
During the stop, the driver, a 37-year-old woman, was seen trying to discard illegal narcotics that were concealed on her person.
The deputy seized the discarded drugs and subsequently searched the woman’s vehicle.
The search uncovered 39 grams of cocaine, a small amount of a methamphetamine-heroine mixture, several Xanax pills, which she did not have a prescription for, and a digital scale.
The De Pere woman was placed in custody and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on Charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Illegally Obtained Prescription Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
She was also charged with bail jumping as she was out on bond for other narcotic-related charges at the time of her arrest.
At this time, she remains in the Fond du Lac County Jail on an unfurnished $30,000 cash bond.
