Manitowoc Police are looking for more information after a gun was fired last night (April 13th).
Lieutenant Tyler Hill explains that police were called to the 1600 block of Galax Drive just before 11:45 pm on the report of a woman handing firearms to a neighbor because she claimed a man was trying to kill her.
Once officers arrived, they found a gun that had been fired once.
Investigators say a man can be seen on security camera footage having the firearm pointed at him while he ran from the location.
Manitowoc Police K9 Rolo and a drone were called in to try to find the man, but he was never located and has not been identified.
Anyone who lives around Galax Drive and has home surveillance video recorded on April 13th around 11:30 pm is asked to view it to see if they can provide any information to the police.
The man of interest was wearing a dark shirt and jeans.
The information can be called into the Shift Commander’s Office at 920-686-6551 and reference case number 2025-00003830.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, but Manitowoc Police say there is no threat to the public at this time.
