Almost a week after a powerful storm hit northern Wisconsin, residents are seeing their power restored.
Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) crews worked late into the night to bring the final customers back online, announcing that all customers capable of receiving power would be fully restored by Thursday evening.
The restoration effort involved cleaning up downed power lines, broken poles, and damaged equipment, and WPS officials noted that it was the largest restoration project in the company’s history.
