A new supervisor has been named at the Sheboygan County Communications Center.
Sheboygan County Sheriff Matthew Spence has shared that Ardis Kaat has been promoted to serve in her new role.
Kaat has been with the Sheriff’s Office since 2017 when she started as a Dispatcher.
This promotion follows previous upward movement at the Communications Center, having been named a Communications Training Officer in 2021.
She was also responsible for the creation of the Communication Center’s Active Threat Protocol, which allowed her to work with internal departments and members of the community.
When sharing the news, Sheriff Spence said, “Kaat has proven herself to be capable, proficient, and proactive during her years of service at the Sheriff’s Office. We are confident that she will continue to be a leader and an asset to our organization.”
As Supervisor, Kaat will be in charge of overseeing and coaching the communications team during day-to-day operations.
