The City of Sheboygan’s telephone services have been restored.
In a statement released yesterday afternoon (March 20th) by the city’s Communication Specialists, Veronica Valdez, phone services at City Hall are back up and running after experiencing disruptions with incoming calls.
Earlier in the day, a message was put out to residents stating that they were dealing with issues with only incoming calls and outgoing phone services remained operational.
The city worked closely with AT&T and ultimately was able to solve the problem.
These issues arose while residents were attempting to call City Hall to utilize curbside in-person absentee voting.
Valdez finished her statement by thanking Sheboyganites for their patience and understanding while the city assessed and corrected the disruptions to its telephone services.
