A man from Eau Claire is safe after managing to escape from a car engulfed in flames.
The fire department responded to the scene on I-94 early yesterday morning and found the vehicle on its side, fully ablaze.
The driver, the sole occupant of the car, managed to get out before emergency crews arrived.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and the man was unharmed.
