A Green Bay man is facing a sixth OWI after a car accident over the weekend.
Wisconsin State Patrol says a trooper was driving on Ashland Avenue near Liberty Street in the City of Green Bay.
The trooper noticed a Ford Mustang leave the roadway and drive through a grass ditch on South Oakland Avenue.
The Mustang then hit a pole while the vehicle came to a stop in a nearby parking lot.
The 62-year-old driver, Josh Fitzgerald Flowers, got out of the car and started to run away before the trooper caught up and arrested him.
WSP says Flowers was displaying numerous signs of impairment.
He’s now charged with Operating While Intoxicated, a 6th offense, and was taken to the Brown County Jail.
