A Manitowoc man has been sentenced after he robbed a gas station.
32-year-old Justin Smith appeared in court on Thursday (March 13th) for his plea and sentencing hearing as he faced one felony charge of Armed Robbery.
Manitowoc County Judge Mark Rohrer sentenced Smith to five years of extended supervision after his four-year prison term was stayed.
A criminal complaint states that the Manitowoc Police Department was called to the BP Gas Station on Calumet Avenue last May on a report of a robbery.
Smith fled the scene and was later arrested in Green Bay by the U.S. Marshals Service, Great Lakes Regional Task Force.
As part of his sentencing and probation, Smith is also ordered to pay $1,380 in restitution, undergo mental health treatment, submit to random drug screenings, and maintain full-time employment.
