It took less than 10 minutes for Manitowoc firefighters to put out a house fire last night (March 12th).
The Manitowoc Fire Department was called to the 1300 block of South 36th Street, and when they arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from inside the structure.
After it was confirmed that everyone made it outside, a hose line was deployed to start putting out the flames while additional crews arrived to perform a primary search of the structure, vent the home, and help with salvage and overhaul.
The fire was extinguished in less than seven minutes. No injuries were reported, and everyone inside made it out before firefighters arrived.
The cause is still under investigation but appears to have started inside.
The amount of damage the fire caused is also still not known.
The Two Rivers Fire Department, Branch Fire Department, Manitowoc Police Department, Manitowoc Public Utilities, Wisconsin Public Service, and the Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center assisted the Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department.
