Sheboygan County residents will have the opportunity to learn from the National Weather Service (NWS) next month.
Sheboygan County Emergency Management has announced that they will be hosting a storm spotter training program on April 9th at the Sheboygan Falls Fire Department.
This program will be conducted by the NWS and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Those in attendance will be able to learn from professionals on topics including severe weather and safety, severe weather watches and warnings, how to become an NWS Trained Spotter, and much more.
This event is open to the public and no pre-registration is required.
The storm spotter training program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m. inside Sheboygan Falls’ Fire Department located at 375 Buffalo Street.
