Numerous organizations in Sheboygan are coming together to show support to crime victims.
Color for a Cause, a collaborative event between the Sheboygan Police Department’s Victim Services, Safe Harbor, and Community Social Workers with Families and Neighbors Together, will be held at the Mead Public Library on April 11th, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Color for a Cause will occur during National Crime Victims Rights Week to support victims of crime and show how resources and systems overlap.
The event will offer takeaway resources along with attendees using their creativity to color a small portion of a larger puzzle.
This is in an effort to highlight that individually; one’s small actions can make a difference in the big picture.
The finished artwork from the event will then be displayed in the lobby of Sheboygan City Hall.
Color for a Cause is free to attend and open to anyone in the community who wishes to show their support to crime victims.
