Jonathan Rowan, an Eau Claire man, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for the sexual assault of a child.
The sentencing took place yesterday afternoon in Eau Claire County court.
Rowan, who faced 32 felony charges, including multiple counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, was convicted in connection with assaults on two children, aged eight and nine at the time.
As part of his sentence, Rowan will be placed on the sex offender registry and will serve 20 years of extended supervision after completing his prison sentence.
