There are three meetings today (March 5th) in the City of Two Rivers.
The Room Tax Commission will gather in the meeting room at the Cobblestone Hotel at noon where they will review and vote on the Room Tax and Explore Two Rivers service contract.
They will also look over the 2024 budget and the room tax revenue year over year.
Then, at 4:45 p.m., the Public Works Committee will hold a special meeting at the Public Works Shop to discuss some proposed repairs at the public works facility located at 1415 Lake Street.
The Committee will then hold its regular meeting at 5:40 p.m. in the Koska Room in the J.E. Hamilton Community House.
After getting the latest on Phase 3 of the Sandy Bay Highlands project, and the reconstruction of Harbor, 16th, and Emmet Streets, the group will review the requirements for sidewalk maintenance clearance, and dumpster permits.
They will also review the pavement repair policy before setting up a detour route for an upcoming road project.
