A woman is facing charges following two separate incidents at a Manitowoc hotel.
Officers were called to the Holiday Inn on Calumet Avenue just before midnight on February 22nd, where a witness told police that he had witnessed a vehicle slam into another and “burn rubber” into the driver side door.
The suspect vehicle then fled the scene.
The officer spoke with the owner of the victim vehicle, who identified the suspect as an individual with whom she has a history.
The victim explained that the suspect had assaulted her with a metal pipe prior to striking her vehicle.
Officers attempted to make contact with the suspect at her home and over the phone, but she did not answer.
The following day, officers were again called to the Holiday Inn at around the same time on a report of a physical altercation.
The victim explained that the suspect from the previous case was refusing to give her vehicle back, which led to a fight where the suspect allegedly struck a minor.
The suspect again fled before police arrived, but she has since been located and arrested.
The 28-year-old woman is facing charges of Disorderly Conduct, Battery, Criminal Damage to Property, Physical Abuse of a Child, and six counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
