Kiel residents might be seeing some salespeople knocking on their doors soon.
The Kiel Police Department announced that Mad City Windows and Baths has applied for and has been approved for a direct seller’s permit, allowing them to make door-to-door sales that began on Saturday (March 1st).
The City of Kiel requires door-to-door salesmen to register for a permit.
The city does a background check on all of the people who try to sell things.
The salespeople are also provided with a document showing the rules regarding door-to-door sales.
They are also not allowed on properties with a “No Peddlers” or “No Solicitors” sign posted on the property.
