A scholar program at Lakeland University has been recently bolstered by a significant donation.
The university has shared that the Brotz Family Foundation recently pledged $500,000 in support of the Sheboygan County Scholars Program.
The goal of this program is to retain the best and brightest students from Sheboygan County and prepare them to assume future leadership positions in the area.
After the announcement, Brotz Family Foundation President Stuart Brotz said, “The program has a proven track record of success, and we are pleased to continue to partner with Lakeland to invest in young people in Sheboygan County to develop tomorrow’s leaders.”
Previous donations from the foundation have helped support full-time tuition scholarships to more than 35 students who passed through rigorous academic standards and a highly competitive application process.
