A man from Menasha has been arrested in connection to a 2022 overdose death.
31-year-old Julius J Elmer was arrested by the Appleton Police Department on Thursday (February 27th) following a lengthy investigation.
Elmer has been charged with First-Degree Reckless Homicide.
These charges stem from an incident in August of 2022 where police were called to the 500 block of East Winnebago Street to investigate the death of a 42-year-old Appleton resident.
This investigation ruled the individual’s death an overdose and eventually led authorities to the arrest of Elmer.
No additional information regarding the investigation is being released by the Appleton Police Department at this time.
