A school district in Sheboygan County will hold informational sessions ahead of a referendum vote on the spring election ballot.
The School District of Sheboygan Falls is set to hold info sessions throughout the month of March for residents to better understand the needs outlined in the referendum.
Info sessions and facility tours will take place at the high school on March 4th and 12th and at the elementary school on March 11th and March 18th, all beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The school district is asking residents to join the conversation about the referendum and see firsthand why the district is proposing the question on the spring ballot.
During last year’s general election, the district asked residents two referendum questions totaling just under $100 million.
Both questions failed to obtain enough votes, and in response, the district put out a survey to gauge the community’s feelings towards both referendum questions.
This resulted in the announcement of a new $70 million referendum question which will target the district’s most critical needs.
