Manitowoc Police are looking for more information about gunshots being fired early this morning (February 25th).
MPD says they and the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office were called to South 19th and Hamilton Street area just after 12:30 am for multiple reports of citizens hearing gunshots.
Once officers arrived, evidence of a firearm being fired was located. Manitowoc Police Lieutenant Tyler Hill says they seek public assistance in the investigation.
If anyone in the area has camera footage from midnight to 12:45 am this morning, they should call the Shift Commanders office at 920-686-6551 and reference case number 2025-00001981.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
