
The Manitowoc County Historical Society has opened registration for one of its springtime events.
The annual Scout Day will be held at the Pinecrest Village on Saturday, April 26th, and will focus on activities for both Girl and Boy Scouts.
The event’s programming will be tailored for scouts to fulfill a badge requirement.
Scout Day includes an opportunity for Boy Scouts to receive their Metalworking Merit Badge and for Senior Gil Scouts to earn a Textile Artist Badge.
Additionally, the Social Butterfly and Playing the Past program will be offered for both Junior Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts.
A morning session of the workshops will be offered from 9:00 to noon, while an afternoon session will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A maximum of six students per session will be able to participate in the Boy Scout and Senior Girl Scout programs, while the Junior Girl Scout and Cub Scout programs will have a maximum of 20 students per session.
As space is limited, advanced registration is required.
The price of admission for scout attendees is $30 however each scout may bring one adult along for complimentary admission.
