
Junior Will Franzen of Manitowoc Lutheran and senior Matthew Bonin of Roncalli are the top two three-point shooters in Division Four Wisconsin High School Basketball.
Franzen leads the pack for a second straight week, shooting the three-ball just shy of 50 percent. Bonin is a close second, shooting 48.5 percent from distance.
Franzen’s teammate, senior Derek Laabs, is fifth, hitting 42.5 percent from the three-ball. Travis Trinkner of St. Mary Catholic is tenth, shooting 41.6 percent from beyond the arc.
Kiel senior Cade Voekler is fourth in Division Three, shooting the three-ball at nearly 43.5 percent. Brillion senior Owen Krepline shoots 42.5 percent from distance, good for seventh in Division Two.
Brayden Smith of Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah ranks third in Division Five, shooting 42 percent from distance, while Sheboygan Christian’s Josh Kautzer shoots nearly 38 percent from distance, good for ninth in Division Five.
Meanwhile, junior Zoey Siders of Valders is fourth in girls Division Four three-point shooting, knocking down nearly 40 percent from downtown. Kinsley Ketterhagen of Oostburg is the best in Division Three, topping the charts at 43.5 percent.
Competition continues through the end of the regular season, with the top two shooters in each division moving on to their respective state competitions at the March girls’ and boys’ state basketball tournaments.
