A man in Green Bay will be going to trial in a 2022 homicide case.
FOX11 reports that 25-year-old Jesse Dahl was inside a Brown County courtroom on Friday (February 14th) for his plea hearing where a judge ruled he will stand trial for his alleged role in a homicide in Green Bay.
Dahl has been charged with being a party to First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
The deadly shooting took place on December 20th, 2022, in the 1300 block of Smith Street.
The suspects, a 42-year-old man identified only as R.H. was killed while an additional unidentified 41-year-old man was also shot but survived.
As we previously reported, the victims were said to be in an alley when they met with Dahl and another unnamed individual.
The incident escalated, and shots were fired.
Dahl’s legal counsel may file a Denny motion which would seek to blame a different suspect for the murder, but as of now, Dahl is scheduled to stand trial on August 18th later this year.
