A former childcare worker has been sentenced after selling drugs out of a Green Bay daycare.
22-year-old Tatiana Quinones, who was found guilty due to no contest pleas, was sentenced last week to eight years in prison followed by ten years of extended supervision.
Quinones was found guilty of Manufacturing or Delivering Fentanyl Near a Youth Center and Possession with the Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, while charges of Possession of THC and Drug Paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record.
The 22-year-old was arrested last year after a confidential informant met with her in the parking lot of the Green Bay Academy to purchase fentanyl.
The buyer was able to get 50 pills from Quinones and learned that they were stored in the “1-year-old room” of the daycare.
Following the incident, the Green Bay Academy daycare license was revoked.
