Police in Kiel are searching for the suspect in a recent hit and run incident.
The Kiel Police Department received a call last night (February 13th) reporting the hit and run which took place on Raider Heights Road.
It is believed that the accident occurred sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., yesterday.
Initial investigations show that the suspect was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed before losing control of the vehicle.
It is believed the vehicle then went up the curb, striking and damaging a mailbox and a planter.
The suspect then presumably backed onto the road and continued east on Raider Heights Road.
Currently, Kiel Police have no suspect vehicle information or description.
At this time, police are requesting the driver to come forward.
They are also asking residents on Raider Heights Road to check security camera footage for possible evidence relating to the hit and run.
