The Manitowoc County community is invited to raise money for a local shelter while experiencing a piece of homelessness.
The Coldest Night of the Year 5k walk is scheduled for February 22nd with all proceeds benefiting the Manitowoc Warming Shelter.
The 12-bed facility is located inside First Presbyterian Church in downtown Manitowoc and is the only emergency shelter in the Manitowoc Area.
The walk will begin with a check-in at First Lutheran Church located at 1521 North 8th Street.
Walkers will also receive a meal prior to the event.
