As cold temperatures and snowstorms roll in, Neenah has a new way of keeping those in need safe.
A new daytime warming shelter has opened in the city located at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
The warming shelter will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. whenever the morning temperature falls to 10 degrees or lower.
A sign outside the church will help let community members know when the shelter will be open.
The shelter will be staffed with volunteers and has a maximum occupancy during open hours of 25. Coffee, tea, water, hot cocoa, and snacks will be provided for anyone who stops in.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is located at 200 North Commercial Street in Neenah.
