Candidates running in 2025 are answering questions before two upcoming elections.
The 2025 Spring Primary takes place next Tuesday (February 18th), with seven candidates running for three Manitowoc Public School Board seats.
They include Mary Lofy Blahnik, David Bowmen, Michael Retzinger, Ann Holsen, Brayden Myer, Chrystal Myer, and Lisa Anna Krueger.
By the end of the primary, the number of candidates will be down to six.
Three people are also running in the 1st Aldermanic District for the Manitowoc Common Council.
Incumbent Brett Vanderkin is facing challenges from Ray Geigel and Andrew Dunbar. At the end of the primary, the number will be down to two.
The General Election takes place on April 1st.
