Janesville has secured additional assistance from state officials to aid recovery efforts from last June’s devastating tornado.
On Friday, local leaders announced that the city has been awarded nearly $120,000 from the Wisconsin Emergency Management Disaster Fund.
These funds will help cover some of the costs for cleanup and recovery after the twister, which caused over $300,000 in damages.
