The City of Two Rivers is in violation of the Wisconsin DNR regarding water service line inventory.
City Manager Greg Buckley says the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires Two Rivers Water Utility to complete an inventory of all water service laterals connected to the city’s water distribution system.
It was submitted on time in October last year, however, the city was cited for how the lateral was classified.
Water Director Andrew Sukowaty told the council that the utility had to create an inventory for the city to send out notifications to the public.
The violation says the incidentals are what the violation is for if residents got information from the city.
Buckley says the city’s utility takes the issue seriously.
They must submit a revised inventory that complies with US EPA requirements.
