A New Berlin man faces charges of impersonating a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
Hank Glembin has been charged with identity theft and impersonating a peace officer.
Authorities say Glembin intervened during a deer collision investigation last month, claiming to be an off-duty border patrol agent.
However, his uniform didn’t match those worn by actual Border Patrol agents, and upon further investigation, his identity was confirmed.
Glembin later approached officers at a separate traffic stop, offering assistance.
He is scheduled for a court hearing this week.
