Neenah’s “deck demolisher” case has been solved.
The Neenah Police Department has announced that thanks to an outpouring of tips and responses following their social media post last week, the case has been resolved, and the victim will be getting their deck repaired.
After leads ran dry for police in Neenah, the department took to social media in an effort to find the one responsible for ripping out the boards of a backyard deck of a local resident.
On Tuesday, January 7th, a man assumed to be hired for the job was seen by witnesses ripping out boards on the deck before leaving after approximately 30 minutes to never return.
The homeowner claimed to never have hired anyone for deck work and returned home from work to the unfortunate surprise.
After the case was resolved, the Neenah Police Department thanked the public for the social media response that led to the case being solved and finding the so-called “deck demolisher.”
No Information regarding the person’s identity or possible charges have been released.
